Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this MORryde X-Factor crossmember drop adapter kit. This adapter kit is going to allow you to lower your MORryde X-Factor crossmember, which is sold separately. You can find it here at Etrailer using the part number you see on the screen there. So if you are needing to install that crossmember, but you have some drain lines or other obstacles in the way that will prevent you from getting that installed. These brackets are going to lower your bar, your crossmember, by approximately three and a quarter of an inch.
So that's gonna help you clear those drain lines and other obstacles and allow you to get that crossmember installed on your fifth wheel or travel trailer. This will bolt right to the X-Factor crossmember, right in place of those original brackets. It is going to be very simple to get installed. No welding or anything is required. It will reuse the crossmember hardware, and so it's basically just swapping out the original brackets for these and to give you that approximately three and a quarter of an inch drop for better clearance.

It was pretty easy if you are mechanically inclined. I hope this stiffens the the frame to keep too much flex. We will see.
Very well built, heavier than I expected. Working around the black tank dump was a little problematic. I finally cut it off and then put it back on later with a 3" rubber sleeve in case I ever needed to access that area again, that way I could remove the dump if needed for maintenance.

The fresh water dump is right where the cross bar would have needed to be. This bracket lowers the cross bar enough to not interfere with the fresh water dump. It is very good quality and was easy to install.
I was pleasantly surprised to see these crossmembers adapters are much heavier duty than expected.

Easy installation similar to standard brackets. Provided the necessary clearance to factory installed gas line protective tube that ran from front to back of my Brinkley over the axles. Advice to installers: verify actual width of spring hangers to ensure top bracket and bolts of drop down or standard brackets are flush with spacers. My installation required adding a couple thin washers to most of the spring hangers to enable proper seating of crossbar bracket onto the spacers.

I had some items that I needed to get around so that I could install the Crossmembers on the front and rear spring hangers on my camper. So, I ordered 2 sets of these. They came quickly, were undamaged and seem to be of good quality. They do not include any hardware, however, when you order the Crossmembers themselves, all necessary hardware is included in those boxes.
A quick note, pay attention to how you install them. I jacked up one side of my camper and grabbed a set and installed them on that side, then moved to the other side and grabbed the second set. Now, there was a chance that I could have put the correct ones in the correct places, but in my case, that wasn't the case...
It's obvious, but there is a narrow bracket and a wide bracket in each set. You need a narrow bracket on one end and the wide bracket on the other end. The difference in width is not actually much, so just glancing at them you can't tell which is which, so pay attention!
In my case, I had both wide brackets on the rear spring hangers, and the narrow brackets on the front hangers... Thankfully I was able to just remove the nuts and pull the brackets and swap them around. I didn't need to jack the camper up again because I didn't need to remove the bolts... but it was a little disheartening when I was laid under the camper and realized this... lol!
In the end though, I got it all done, and it is just as I expected. I am looking forward to my next trip with all 3 Crossmembers in place now!
The exact adapter mounts that my Sonic RV trailer needed for the aft x-factor cross member. Now the cross member easily clears the grey tank drain line.
